RTD INCOTEST – fast and versatileWithacrewoftwoanddependentonaccessibility,RTDINCOTESTcansurveyandstoreupto1,000pointsperday.Itmonitorsthedecayofaneddycurrentpulsewithinasteelwall,computingtheaveragemetalthicknessbycomparingthetransienttime(echo)ofselectedsignalfeatureswithsimilarcalibrationtests.Theresultingmeasurementcanbeinfluencedbyanumberoffactorslikemetallurgyvariations(magneticandelectricalproperties)andtemperature.

Dependingonmetalthicknesstypicalsurveyscantakefrom2to40seconds.Computedaveragewallthicknessescanbeeasilylogged,andthevalidationsignaldisplayedon-screen.Rawdataisstoredforlaterretrieval.
