Lastnosti in prednosti
Sistem LOSSNAY omogoča prenos energije iz izhodnega na vhodni zrak z do 30 % prihranka energije na letni ravni v primerjavi s tradicionalnimi sistemi prisilnega prezračevanja. Ker so izgube manjše so manjše tudi potrebe po hlajenju oz. gretju. To omogoča uporabo grelnega oz. klimatskega sistema manjše moči, kot se uporablja pri tradicionalnih sistemih prisilnega prezračevanja, kar zmanjša tudi vrednost investicije v sistem ogrevanja oz. hlajenja.Toka odpadnega zraka na izhodu in čistega zraka na vhodu se v sistemu LOSSNAY križata, ne da bi se fizično mešala. Sistem LOSSNAY avtonomno obnavlja zrak s pravo mero vlažnosti (funkcija razvlaževanja poleti in vlaženja pozimi).
Obnavljanje zraka poteka pri sobni temperaturi. Obodno (by-pass) omrežje v sistemu LOSSNAY omogoča hlajenje brez stroškov (free-cooling) v prehodnih sezonah. Sistem razen ventilatorjev nima premikajočih se mehanskih delov, zato je življenjska doba delovanja zelo dolga.

Temperatura vhodnega zraka je za 4°Cnižja od temperature zraka v prostoru,
ohranjena pa je tudi vlažnost zraka.

Območje delovanja
Lossnay LGH-RVX deluje v območju od -10°C ~ +40°C temperature in maksimalno 80 % relativne vlažnosti. Pri zunanjih temperaturah < -10°C ventilator deluje intervalno, zato se pri teh pogojih priporoča uporabo grelca, ki je lahko krmiljen s strani naprave Lossnay LGH.

Poleg avtomatske funkcije odpiranja/zapiranja lopute za obvod, je funkcijo “By-pass” sedaj mogoče krmiliti tudi s pomočjo zunanjih naprav, ki se priključijo na konektor CN 16 (na krmilni plošči enote) npr.:

• senzor za vlago
• časovnik
Če je na konektor CN 16 priključen senzor za CO2 lahko, s pomočjo mikrostikal na krmilni plošči enote, programiramo avtomatski preklop na najvišjo hitrost ventilatorja, ko količina CO2 v zraku preseže določeno vrednost.

In addition to the conventional Extra High, High, and Low modes, an Extra Low mode is added to provide a more dynamic range of air volume settings and versatility in a variety of installation environments, yielding much better energy conservation. Using a simplified timer function, it switches to Extra Low operation when the operation stop button is activated and it is accordingly possible to implement 24-hour energy conservation ventilation.

Pomen prezračevanja prostorov
Kvaliteta zraka v izoliranih, zaprtih ali ne prezračevanih prostorih je z vidika bivalnega udobja izjemno pomembna. Slab in iztrošen zrak v katerem je prevelika koncentracija CO2 in žlahtnih plinov namreč pomembno vpliva na zdravje, počutje in produktivnost ljudi. Človek potrebuje približno 400 l svežega zraka na uro. Pogosto se slabega zraka v prostoru ne zavedamo. Razliko v kvaliteti zraka, močno občutimo, na primer, ob prihodu v prostor iz zunanjosti.
Pomen ustrezne vlažnosti v prostoru
Preveč suhi prostori so idealno okolje za bakterije in viruse. Stopnja njihovega preživetja se drastično zniža pri vlažnosti višji od 50 %. Preveč vlažni prostori pa so idealni za razmnoževanje plesni in pršic, zato je kontrola vlažnosti pomembna z vidika zagotavljanja relativne vlažnosti na ustrezni ravni, ki preprečuje širjenje bakterij in virusov ter razvoj plesni in pršic.
