FAMILY: Here are some of my most
memorable family moments!
Meeting my mom at the gym to do
Zumba in Auburn, AL
Talking with my dad for hours about
spirituality, politics, and his childhood
Playing Scrabble with my
grandmother in India
Going on runs with my brother through
Chennai, India
My dad always reminds me of how
he grew up: in a one room home with his 6-person family in India. He tells me
of his 3-mile trek to and from school
each day. Hearing his stories inspires me to aim high and makes me grateful for the life I have
been afforded.Above:Arthi and her family at her brother’s high school graduation in 2007

WILDLIFE:Here are some of my
favorite photos from a trip to Africa I took in
February 2014!
I chose to volunteer at Care for Wild , a wildlife rehabilitation center in South Africa, because I
have a major passion for animals. I wanted make an immediate impact on the lives of orphaned animals in hopes that the work I
did would contribute to the conservation of African
wildife.One day, once I have
fulfilled my professional goals, I hope to open my
own wildlife sanctuary for endangered wildlife.

Solo adventure in Africa
Witness the Great Migration in the Serengeti
Visit the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania
Volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center in South Africa
I am known as the travel agent within my family and within my group of friends. I
planned all of the trips described here and hope to share my talents with the
Sloan community by organizing treks to India or
Africa.Going on a solo trip, such as
my adventure in Africa, taught me to enjoy my own
company and to be self-reliant in fulfilling my own desires. Trips like these teach you to be ready for
anything!
AUBURN FOOTBALLThe photos below are representative of my Auburn Football experience!

Even though I grew up in Auburn, AL, I was not always a die hard Auburn
fan. Once I began my involvement as
a Tigerette, I became enthralled with the spirit of Auburn football. Winning certain
football games in the South provides bragging rights for
the whole year!
