If a student does not pass their Math or Reading SOL from the previous year, he or she may be placed in an Intervention course.
An Intervention course provides additional support in that subject area and is NOT graded.
Each Intervention course is either a yearlong or semester course that will take the place of 1 year-long elective or 1-2 semester electives.
Intervention Courses
Students will be registering for their courses online in the coming weeks. To view your child’s course request selections, you can log on to ParentVue.
Any change requests will need to be submitted to your child’s school counselor by April 1. A copy of the change request form is available on the division website and will be sent home with each student.
