Think of ways that James could correct his wrong choice.
Choosing the Right Brings Happiness
We should always try to choose the right, but if we do choose wrong, we
should try to correct our wrong choices.
Choosing the Right Brings Happiness
When we make wrong choices we will be unhappy, but when we make right
choices we will be happy.
Choosing the Right Brings Happiness
Let’s read Matthew 5:6
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
To “hunger and thirst after righteousness” means to choose the right.
Choosing the Right Brings Happiness
We will be blessed when we choose the right.
How could your mother mark something that belongs to you without writing your whole name?
CTR Stands for Choose the Right
She could use your initials.
Our initials are the beginning letters of our names.

These initials will help you remember to follow Jesus Christ and do the things that will make them happy.
This year in Primary they will learn about many of the things Jesus did and taught while he was on the earth.
Jesus always chose the right, and he wants us to choose the right so we will be happy and so we can help others be happy.
Let’s all stand and repeat the words on this chart together.
Let’s all sing the song “Choose the Right Way”
Choose the Right Way 1. There's a right way to live and be happy;
It is choosing the right ev'ry day. I am learning the teachings of Jesus;
They will help me and show me the way. Choose the right way and be happy.
I must always choose the right.
2. Through the gospel I learn to be prayerful,
To have faith, to repent, to obey, And I know if I live by his teachings,
I will truly be happy each day.
Choose the right way and be happy.
I must always choose the right. Words and music: Clara W. McMaster, 1904-1997. (c) 1981 IRI
