Building a Nation of Leaders
• LeadCap is nurtured by thinkers from the Ivy League with a vision to build the first leadership democracy in the world; to build India as a nation of leaders.
• LeadLab is a platform to empower every individual in India with leadership opportunities, beyond their birth and living conditions.

Recap of the last LeadLab session
• Leadership is about creating something extraordinary out of ordinary.
• How a timid boy named Mohan became a nation’s torch bearer!, how a boy named Jack, the ill struck kid became to John F. Kennedy, who was one of the charismatic leaders, and how Thomas, who didn’t get proper formal education became Thomas Alva Edison, one of the greatest inventor.
• We understood that there is nothing extraordinary about being extraordinary.
• Leadership is a decision
If Leadership is just a Decision, then why are we not taking the Decision?

1. Invisible Fences
Invisible Fences
• As we grow up, we adopt negative beliefs and false assumptions and sabotaging fears from the world around us. These become our Invisible Fences.
• The Danger of these fences is that we tend to stop from doing something if we encounter or face them in the later life. We tend to shrink from greatness only because we don’t know what is stopping us!
2. Fear
• Fear is natural. You didn’t do any sin by fearing.
• Your life will expand or contract in direct relationship to your willingness to walk directly toward the things you fear.
3. Waiting for the savior!
• Many a times we WAIT for someone to ‘lead’, ‘manage’, ‘mentor’ us. We are underestimating ourselves.
• Run your own race. Take personal responsibility.
Be the Ekalavya

The way forward…
• Be aware of your invisible fences
• Run towards your fears
• Lead yourself - take charge of your life
• Be an action person
• Don’t cheat yourselves – No Excuses please
