WHY KIDS EAT FREE?THE NEED

More than 1 in 4 families with children in Tom Green County had times during the last year when there wasn’t enough food - 5,400 households.

In San Angelo ISD, over 60% of students receive free or reduced lunches – over 8,600 students!

During the month of June, SAISD offers free breakfast and lunch at summer school sites.

But, what happens in July and August?
