July Edition
Hello Dolphins! How’s
everyone’s summer going? I
know for those of us in the
Sweetwater Union High
School District start school in
only a matter of days. I
hope we made the most of
this summer.
For those of who still have
summer vacation, please
remember that service
doesn’t stop because
school has. There are many
events you can do with your
club. If you need help with
ideas you can always ask in
our division page.
Hey! Do you know what
would be lovely? If you guys
would submit more things so
it could be posted in these
lovely, monthly newsletters!
Photos from events, articles
on your club events, you
telling us what you love
most about key club, or just
anything that would get us
all warm and fuzzy about
key club in general is
welcomed! I want to make
this newsletter the best I
can, but I can’t do it without
the help from all my darling
dolphins.
Stay GOLDEN

Also I'd like to thank everyone
who came to the lasertag
fundraiser on July 14th, for those
of you who don't know, division
11 hosted a laser tag fundraiser
at Atlantis Laser Tag and raised
around $300! All of which goes
to PTP! Thank you so much and
know that this money is going
towards a good cause!
I know some of us are starting
school this month and I want to
encourage everyone to try and
bring in some freshmen into Key
Club. It’s their first year so they'll
probably be easy to persuade,
tell them to come and tell them
to bring friends! Because
although service is fun, it's even
better with great company! And
if you can't, bribe them with
food, say it'll look good in
college apps, or that its a great
place to meet people. For the
rest of you that aren't starting
school soon, I hope you enjoy
the rest of your vacation!
Officers from all clubs gathered at El Cajon
Library at noon to train for their position.
Workshops were held for the whole palette
of officer positions. Workshops with
powerpoints helped guide them into
exceling in their position alongside helping
them run an effective club. They have
become better leaders in order to serve
the members the best of their abilities.
Putting on their neon lit-up gear, Key
Club members and friends entered
the arena with laser guns in hand.
They were determined to not die, kill
everyone else on the opposing team,
and have fun all for a good cause.
This combined fundraiser and team
bonding event held at Atlantis Laser
Tag helped raised around $300 to go
towards PTP. Good job Dolphins!
For future Newsletters, please
