Erzurum Winter UNIVERSIAD, 2011
• 25thWinterUniversiade Erzurum is the biggest winter sports organization held in Turkey.
• EWU 2011, 7 snow sports, 4 ice sports have been accomplished.
• During the 25thWU Official website had total 792.942 visitors.
• 67 interactive kiosks have been placed and have been used 22,852 times.
• Appeared 1108 times in national press and 662 times in local media.
• 3 Marketing Teaser Films and 1 advertising film were produced and sent to national and international media 2 months prior to the Games.
• 12 Episodes of EWU documentary raised awareness in winter sports.
• 2259 volunteers worked before and during EWU.
• Opening and Closing Ceremonies were operated with 2.288 people. The total cost of OCC was 6.5 million Euros. It was broadcasted live to 82 countries.
• Need of human resources increased rapidly as the event approached and the peak time of workforce was the Opening ceremony with 11.531 people.
