Who Invented AFL?
AFL started in July 10 1858 a man names Tom Wills from Australia sent a letter for a new sport called AFL which stands for Australian Football League.
Rules
The rules where simple you had a oval ball a oval field and at total of 8 post.There are 4 post 2 on the outside and 2 in the middle if you kicked the ball in the middle ones you get 6 points if you score in the other 2 it is a point.To get the ball of the other player you would have to tackle them.
What Was The First Team Made?
Melbourne 1858- Geelong 1859 These where the first two sides which where established.
Tom wills was Captain of Melbourne which won the first Victorian Championship 1870 1872 and 1876.1889 May 17th the V.F.L. was introduced the Victorian Football League which consisted of eight teams which broke away from the V.F.A Victorian Football Association.
