GA Girls and Mission Friends Kids Sharing God’s Love
Our GA Girls enjoyed delivering Valentine treats and spreading lots of
love to the nursing home residents last Wednesday night. Thanks to all
who help lead these girls each week. They are learning and DOING
missions! Our Mission Friends made Valentines for the Christian Kitchen.
These groups worked hard to share the Love of Christ with those in our
Community! A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to Larry Hall and all those
who work with our RA Boys. The RA Racer Event was another
TREMENDOUS SUCCESS! Our kids are so fortunate to have a variety
of ways to learn and grow at FBC! THANKS TO ALL OUR LEADERS!
Don’t forget that we follow the Ben Hill County
School System Calendar so there will be NO
children’s activities Wednesday night, February 20th.
We will resume with our regular schedule on
Wednesday, February 27th. Please make note of this
calendar change.

The kids choir did an
outstanding job this past
Sunday in worship. Thanks to
Susan Spivey and all who

children. Also, thanks parents
for making this ministry a
priority each week.
Abundance Ministry
Thank you for contributing to this ministry in our
community. You can bring chips, snack cakes,
drinks, etc. or you may donate to the Abundance
Ministry and the things that are needed will be
purchased. The Harris House residents play Bingo
regularly and they have asked if we could provide small trinkets as prizes for them.
Things such as Word Search Puzzle books, Hand cream, and other things you
might think of for women or men. And, again you may just donate to the
Abundance Ministry and items will be purchased.

Jerry’s Title and Text Mark 12:41-44
“Was the Widow Wronged?” 41 Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings
were put and watched the crowd putting their money into
the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large
amounts. 42 But a poor widow came and put in two very
small copper coins, worth only a few cents.
43 Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you,
this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the
others. 44 They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of
her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”
Bailey's Notes
BINGO FOR FEBRUARY YOUNG AT HEART! Plan to join us in February for our Young at Heart meeting at Noon in
Burch Hall on the 25th. Our attendance in January was GREAT so please
join us for BINGO in February. This is always a fun time as we
fellowship around the table and see who can win at Bingo! Our host
group members for February are: Kelly & Shirlie Sumner, Wiley &
Charlene Evans and Virginia Watson. If you are not part of a Host Group,
please let me know! We are always in need of helpers.
First Supper Club Set for Last Day of February! We have set the date for our First Supper Club meeting of 2019! We will
be meeting on Thursday night, February 28th at 6pm. Because the time
will not have changed and many do not like to drive long distances at
night, we will be eating at Floyd’s Hamburger Shack. Remember, this is a
time we meet for food and fellowship and the Sr. Adult Ministry will be
paying for the meal for all who attend. Please mark your calendars and
plan to join us for our First Supper Club of the Year!
