Generous Living
As we explore Unstoppable Faith in the book of Acts, we are reminded that the
early church was unrelenting in sharing the gospel through inexplicable generosity
and love for those around them. They challenged the norms and mores of the day
to extend the love of Jesus to those unlike them. May we have the same courage
this week to live with unstoppable freedom in our generosity and love towards
others.

nurture thriving relationships with God through faith in Jesus Christ.
JAM JAM will meet this Friday, May 13 from 7:00 to
9:00 pm in Founders' Hall Gym. JAM wants to show
rising 7th graders what this ministry is all about!
If you are currently in 6th or 7th grade, join us for
a night of friends, food, and fun! 8th graders are
now invited to join our Senior High Youth.
Equipping the Saints Exterior walls and roof structures are being completed!
It's fun to envision youth meetings, casual bible studies,
and all other ministry that will be taking place. This
summer is the big push to complete the interiors of
both new buildings as well as remodeling several spaces
of Founders' Hall. Pray for our project to stay on the
timeline. Check out new pictures and video at http://

Latvia Mission Trip For a decade, St. Luke’s has partnered with
the Sloka Lutheran Church in Latvia. From
June 29-July 13, a team of 13 volunteers will
travel over for a week-long English Camp.
The cost for travel, meals, and camp supplies
for a week of ministry is approximately
$30,000. Participants will pay part of this
expense, but we hope you will link arms in
support of this ministry as well. Please
prayerfully consider supporting the team
financially. Checks can be made to St. Luke’s with “Latvia” written on the memo
line.
“Ten years ago, God built a bridge between Sloka Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church and
American St. Luke's Oviedo church. And God did more - He gave fellowship in our hands. So our
task was to take care and strengthen this fellowship, involving more and more new friends.”
