Basic Structures of Film Posters

This is one of the basic structures of film posters. This is a basic film structure as you have The Title at the bottom of the page, underneath that you have the credit block. You then have the tag line and possibly the strap line.

Examples of film posters that use basic structures

From what we see from both film posters is that they both use the basic structures of film posters. From The Return poster we see that they use the usual basic structure for example the tag line at the top, the title at the bottom, on top of the title is the Main/A list character and underneath the title is the credit line. As for The Purge its really basic, it seems that they have kept it simple. The Title is in the middle with the tag line on top of it, underneath the title you have the date it is being released.
