Flat WashThis wash is best achieved with a large brush
Sponge TechniqueUse a sponge to dab colour into the watercolour paperDo not use too much paint
Frog Skin TechniqueUse an intense saturated colour, such as, blue, violet, green or red (does not work well with black)Have salt ready at your tablePaint the area and quickly sprinkle the salt into the wet paintDo not move the paper until dry
