One Mans Opinion
Part I
Well the first round of elections are over. I was only surprised aboutthe School Board Presidents Race. It was good to see that the umfront runner decided to drop out of the race and allow people whowant the job for the right reasons to face off in a runoff. All I have tosay and will continue to say is Go Out and Vote or Shut Up aboutwho wins or loses. Enough about politics for now.
Part II Were featuring the Auto Industry in this issue and frankly, it got too big for us. We should have
pushed it back further in the year. In retrospect, we really should have segmented it and spread it out
over a few issues and thats what well do when it comes back around again. That being said, I wantto thank everyone who responded in this issue. We appreciate you allowing us to becoming more of aresource for the community by being able to provide listings of businesses and individuals. Our nextThemed HOT SPOT will be Issue # 394; June 25, 2014 and we will feature the Food & Beverage In-dustry. So if you own a business in the Food & Beverage sector of know someone who does, contactus for a FREE Listing in our second Issue in June.
Part III Miami Heat, nuff said
Part IV Heres a couple of Maya Angelou quotes that I like:Nothing will work unless, you doIf you dont like something, change it. If you cant change it, change your attitude.

(Dennis) D. Bobby Albright startedin sales back in 1969 when we soldincense and oils for the family busi-ness. He progressed into the retailfood industry, finally settling in hislifes work in car sales a few yearslater.
I (Hot Spot) met Bobby in 1990 andhe immediately impressed me withhis high level of customer service. Tohelp me get the vehicle I wanted, hedrove over six hours to secure the
needed signatures to close the deal.
He has been in the Auto business for over 30 years and has per-formed all aspects of car sales. Hes now at Select Car and TruckStore as General Manager, helping customers with less than per-fect credit that want a good car or truck.
Bobby was taught at an early age that your word is your bondand that you get more done with a handshake than a contract.

Automotive Professional Profile
I had the opportunity to chat with Mr. AdrainJackson of Adrains Car Wash a few days ago.
Mr. Jackson started out with an Education De-gree and worked in the school system. He latermoved to the Department of Corrections.
Mr. Jackson has been in business for 21 years. When asked what led him to start a business,he responded that the result of a businessmeeting with some of fraternity brothers ledto a part-time position picking up cars and sub-sequently washing them. He saw the potentialin the operation and the customer service he
provided created a following, which eventuallyled to him starting his own car wash.
The greatest challenge is: keeping the young boys sober. Further discussion leads one to believe that running the car wash ismore than a business for Mr. Jackson, its more of a calling or a ministry to helpeven rehabilitate young men who have lost their way.
He spoke with pride about of one his success stories calling the young man byname, Albert Holmes. He spoke about the young mans work ethic, consistencyand dedication to doing quality work. When asked about goals, his aspirations aremodest, I want someone to open and close for me , so I can stay in bed as long asI want.
His advice to someone wanting to open a car wash today; be prepared for hardwork because good help is hard to find and be ready when you start, create anupscale establishment and environment; both of these should lead to success.
