Hereward Hopkins8/924

Hereward was the son of Arthur Philps and Mary Hopkins. He was born in 1892

He was an electrician with the Christchurch Tramway

His dad worked as the manager of the Canterbury Frozen Meat Company works at Belfast.

He had ten brothers.

He died in Gallipoli.

He is buried in Turkey. His brother was a lieutenant and he got killed in 1918.
