HELP! Earthquakes can be so powerful and cause awful damage to the land. People who live near them should really watch out for them. Perhaps make a plan or watch the behavior of animals.
What causes the EarthquakesFirstly, what happens
is that parts of Earth move that makes the shaking under ground and Earthquakes are born. There are 1,000 Earthquakes a day some you may not feel some you may feel. Almost all Earthquakes last less than a minute . In 1906 there was a San Francisco Earthquake $1 billion dollars of damage and 700 people died and it was only 48 sec.
The effect to land & peopleThird, the effect to
the land and the people is not very good or very cool. As well its sad because people lose their homes .also roads break and railroads. Telephone poles fall down. People die by getting hit with walls , buildings, and cars.

Safety PrecautionsFourth, make sure you
are safe during an Earthquake. You should have a safety kit. Also make a plan where you should go or what you should do. Some people may say if you see your animal acting crazy or wild that ma be a sign of an earthquake. Make sure your homes are built strong, the stronger the better and a lot of lives will be saved.
There are over 1 million earthquakes each year. Some you may feel and some you may not . Earthquakes can be very dangerous. So if you live where earthquakes happen be sure to be as safe as possible. Remember have a plan for earthquakes .
