Health and Safety Awareness This one-day course is for those who have entered, or are about to enter, the construction and civil
engineering industry. The course gives you an awareness of health and safety and how it affects
your daily role. It can be used as preparation training for the CITB Health, safety and environment
(HS&E) test or as refresher training. This course is the first step in the progressive CITB Site Safety
Plus suite of courses that range from training for operatives entering the industry up to senior
manager/director.

Health and Safety Awareness and HS&E Test – One-Day Package This one-day programme is designed to help those wishing to get a CSCS Labourer Card to meet the
requirements in demonstrating their knowledge of site safety through training and testing. This is a
complete package that incorporates the Health and Safety Awareness course, CITB Health, safety
and environment (HS&E) test and the CSCS card application.

Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) This two-day course introduces site supervisors to their legal responsibilities regarding health,
safety, welfare and environmental issues. The United Kingdom Contractors Group (UKCG) recognises
this course as meeting the required standard for all supervisors working on UKCG sites.

Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme (SEATS)

the basic environmental knowledge that the sub-contract chain is required to prove to major
