RAISE MONEY & HAVE FUN
WITH MARTIN LUTHER Where did Martin Luther go? He has not appeared in a special front yard in weeks and it’s time he started traveling again! Let’s not forget about how fun it is to surprise our friends and family with a visit from Martin Luther. Remember, if you are chosen to receive a visit, you will need to make a donation to have him removed, or wait three days, in which time he will automatically be re-located. You may also purchase an indulgence for $25 to insure he will not visit your home again. To date we have raised $479, all money collected will help support our scholarship fund. For more infor-mation including travels and financ-es regarding Martin Luther, please contact Kelly Gruetzner or Kim Rasmussen.

We Are Looking
For More Stephen Ministers
Do you have the Spiritual Gift (s) of Mercy, Helping, Servanthood or Encouragement? Do you enjoy listening, and caring for others? Pray about becoming a Stephen Minister. Stephen Ministers walk besides those in our congregation or community who are dealing with a difficult situation in their life. They show the love of Jesus by being there for those who may be struggling. They help Pastor in a caring ministry. Being a Stephen Minister is a two - year commitment. You will be trained to be a care giver on one evening, every other week in the Spring, and some weekend retreats. Even after training, additional topics and supervision will continue one-night every other week during your tenure.
COFFEE HOUR
Missionary
Benjamin Helge is
sponsoring our
coffee hour on Sun.
Oct. 8th at 9:45 a.m.
in the Parish Hall.
"Everyday presents us with many tasks to ac-complish. If you’re like me, you seem to always be “on the move.” But whether you are at the office, taking care of your kids, traveling, or enjoying the company of friends and family in your own home, there is always time for a great cup of coffee. By purchasing coffee from On The Move Brew, you receive direct trade spe-cialty coffee while at the same time supporting ministry and church planting efforts in the Czech Republic. With help and roasting from Solid Coffee Roasters, all of the profits go to-wards supporting local outreach clubs, events, and church plant activities in one of the most atheistic countries in the world. Thanks for your continued support of God’s ministry here in the
Czech Republic." Benjamin Helge
Thanks to Thrivent Action Teams for assisting with our coffee hour!
For more information or if you would like to place an order, contact Leslie Helge (293-4439) or Lois Postenrieder (299-8388).
