To start with, I had to make my image the correct size to make sure it fitted and took up the space of the magazine’s front cover.

Here, I made my masthead; I decided to have the name Acoustic as that is the style of music my magazine focuses on. I wanted the masthead in front of my model’s head as it wouldn’t be very visible otherwise. Moreover, I wanted it to be bolder so I put a different coloured shadow behind it.

I had now begun to make my main heading which relates to the main image. I chose to have it in a pink as it emphasises the artist and also follows the colour scheme of the front cover.

The font I decided needed to be more fun and relate more to my image as the previous font was very straight forward and the same as the text on the rest of the page. I chose this font from DaFont as it is quite feminine and emphasises ‘acoustic’ as being original and unique.

The informative text before the main heading is the same as the rest of the cover’s text to make the artist’s name stand out more. Also, I decided to have ‘exclusive’ in a cloud shape as if it had been stamped which shows that it is a feature and something worth reading.
