Built using the same fundamentals as FlightSafety International, the Academy has been providing Professional ab initio pilot training and development since 1966.
Today more than 20,000 Academy graduates fly or manage for over 100 corporate flight departments and 62 airlines.
Our expertise in professional ab initio flight training has resulted in certification by the FAA, GACA, EASA, CAAC as well as many other National Civil Aviation Authorities.
HISTORY
Ab Initio Pilot Training for Airlines, Governments and Special Use Operators.
Training under FAA Part 141 for PPL through CPL.
Training under foreign FTO and ATO authorization.
Programs can include Turbine Aircraft and Regulatory required Upset Recovery Training.
“Train the Trainer” and other Training Consulting.
Other Special Training programs as defined by specific Customer Requirements.
SERVICES
Weather allows for optimum, year round operations. Airport provides maximum training operations; Towered, Published Instrument Approaches and non-Scheduled airline service. Access to high density airport traffic environments within 30 minutes. Small city with easy access to shopping and medical services. All training facilities are located on the airport.
TRAINING ENVIRONMENT
ATC Simulator to familiarize students with ATC in-flight procedures and improve language skills.

Academy limits the number of students per instructor during high intensity training Phases.
Increased learning opportunities through Instructor led Group Study workshops.
LEARNING TOOLS
Modeled after the airlines, the Academy employs an Integrated Operations Control Center activity utilizing the AMS system for scheduling, maintenance and dispatch coordination.
Flight Following provides staff with tracking over sight and students with ready student access via cell-phone to instructors, dispatch and maintenance staff.
Nearly 90 dedicated training aircraft and over 70 instructors.
Operations Center includes access to current Weather and Flight conditions, Pre and Post Briefing offices, Classrooms, Dispatch and Scheduling.
OPERATIONS
Multi-level management student review and oversight in providing student performance reviews at regular intervals, Customized reports specific to agreement requirements.
