Open the “Full Grade Center”
Weighted ColumnsLetting e-Campus do the Work
You will first need to create a categoryClick on the Manage drop down arrowClick on CategoriesOn the Categories page click on Create CategoryName the category
i.e. “Tests Grade, Quizzes…
Manage Tab (drop down menu)
Click here
Categories Page
Create your category (then click Submit)
Name it
Optional to describe it
Click when done
Categories Page
After clicking submit, back to Categories pageClick OK at the bottom of pageYou are now back at the Full Grade Center
Click on “Create Calculated Column”
Click on the
drop down arrow
Drop down menu, click Create Weighted Column
Enter info on 1. Column Information
Name like
“Quiz
Average”
Scroll down to 3. Select Column
Click on the
category
Next, click on
arrow to move
over
Fill in “100” in box
Type in 100 in the boxKeep columns weight Equally.Drop highest/lowest grade if desiredBest to ignore last option on right sideClick “Submit”
Type 100
Linking a Weighted Column
Weighted column needs to be linked to designated columnFirst, create a column to score quiz.Enter: Column name (Quiz 1) Category (i.e. quizzes) Possible points (for now use 100, can change later) Submit
Repeat steps and make a separate column for each quiz
Create a Graded Column
Click here
Enter the following…then Submit
Name (like “Quiz 1”)
Drop down menu, pick
category (Quizzes)
Use 100 unless you know otherwise
Ready to receive…
Graded Columns are now ready to receive grades
Grades will auto be collected in Weighted Column
To move columns, use Manage tab & Column
Organization on the drop down menu
