History• Started as a small group who skied recreationally in the river valley• In collaboration with the City of Edmonton, built a network of trails in Goldbar and Goldstick parks.•Over the last decade, the club has worked to construct a trail system encompassing 10 km • Lights for night skiing• Purchased “state of the art” grooming equipment•Over $1 million invested in trail development, facilities and grooming equipment

• Groom and maintain recreational ski trails for:– the skiing public in Edmonton and area– The City of Edmonton (ski instruction)– Edmonton Public School Board (ski instruction and
outdoor education)– Edmonton Separate School Board (ski instruction

country and biathlon teams• Club Alumni include 4 Olympians and many
who have competed internationally• Currently have about 600
club members including seniors, adults, teenagers and children
