1. PROVIDE PROTECTIVE WALKWAY SCAFFOLDING AT GROUND LEVEL AT ALL BUILDING ENTRANCES ANDEXITS AND PEDESTRIAN SIDEWALKS. PROTECTIVE SCAFFOLDING SHALL BE DESIGNED TO MAINTAINCLEAR ACCESS TO ALL BUILDING DOORS DURING THE WORK.
2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE 6'-0" HIGH CHAIN LINK CONSTRUCTION FENCE AROUND THEPERIMETER OF THE BUILDING AT ALL ACTIVE WORK AREAS.
3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT ALL EXISTING TREES AND LANDSCAPING IN THE WORK AREAS. ANYDAMAGES TO THE LANDSCAPING, TREES, SHRUBS, AND SURROUNDING GROUNDS MUST BE REPAIREDTO THE SATISFACTION OF THE OWNER WITHOUT ANY ADDITIONAL COSTS TO THE ORIGINAL CONTRACTSUM.
4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PERFORM ALL NECESSARY REPAIRS TO LANDSCAPING IN THE WORK AREASIMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF THE REHABILITATION IN THE AREA.
5. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT ALL EXISTING WALKWAY SURFACES FROM DAMAGE DURING THEWORK. ANY DAMAGES TO THE WALKWAY SURFACES MUST BE REPAIRED TO THE SATISFACTION OF THEOWNER WITHOUT ANY ADDITIONAL COSTS TO THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT SUM.
6. CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE CONSTRUCTION SIGNAGE AROUND THE WORKING AREAS.
7. CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE TEMPORARY REMOVAL OF SECURITY CAMERAS WITH OWNER PRIOR TOBEGINNING DEMOLITION.

- FENCING
1. SCAFFOLDING COMPONENTS, CONNECTIONS, ATTACHMENTS, BRACING & HARDWARE SHALL MEET OR EXCEED ALL OSHA,FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL CODES, LAWS AND REQUIREMENTS. THE SCAFFOLDING, AS SUPPLIED AND INSTALLED, SHALL BEABLE TO SUPPORT A MINIMUM DESIGN LIVE LOAD OF 150 PSF ATOP ALL SCAFFOLDING PLATFORMS.
2. ALL HARDWARE (I.E. NAILS, BOLTS, U-BOLTS, WIRE, ETC.) SHALL BE GALVANIZED. ALL SCAFFOLDING COMPONENTS,INCLUDING SCAFFOLDING, SHALL BE BOLTED, NAILED, WIRED OR OTHERWISE SOLIDLY CONNECTED.
3. THE SCAFFOLDING SHALL BE ATTACHED TO THE BUILDING, AS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN LATERAL STABILITY AND PRECLUDESWAY. ANY TIE-BACK ANCHOR LOCATIONS SHALL BE SECURED INTO THE MASONRY JOINTS. CONTRACTOR SHALL REPAIR ALLANCHOR LOCATIONS AFTER REMOVAL OF SCAFFOLDING.
4. ALL WORKING SCAFFOLDING SHALL HAVE WOOD PLANK PLATFORMS OR EQUIVALENT. THE EXTERIOR PERIMETER OF ALLPROTECTIVE SCAFFOLDING PLATFORMS SHALL HAVE 4' HIGH BRACED 2x4 WOOD PARAPETS WITH 3 4" PLYWOOD SHEATHING,PAINTED PER OWNER'S REQUIREMENTS.
5. CONTRACTOR IS TOTALLY AND SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING FIELD DIMENSIONS AND ASSOCIATED SCAFFOLDINGQUANTITIES. CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT PROTECTIVE SCAFFOLDING SHOP DRAWINGS, SIGNED AND SEALED BY A PA.LICENSED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER, FOR REVIEW AND ACCEPTANCE PRIOR TO THE START OF SCAFFOLDING ERECTION.
A. CONTRACTOR SHALL FIELD LOCATE ALL DRIVEWAYS, BUILDING ENTRANCES, EXITS AND WALKWAYS. SHOW ALLINFORMATION ON SCAFFOLDING SHOP DRAWINGS. DRAWINGS NOT SHOWING COORDINATED FIELD INFORMATION MAYBE REJECTED BY THE ENGINEER AT THEIR DISCRETION.
6. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE APPROPRIATE SIGNAGE AT ALL EXTERIOR DOORS LEADING FROM BUILDING INTO OR BELOWWORKING AREAS.
7. TEMPORARY LIGHTING 100 WATT BULB (PROTECTED) SHALL BE ATTACHED TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE WORK PLATFORM AT6'-0" o.c. (MAX.) WITH 12 GAUGE EXTERIOR ELECTRICAL CABLE FOR EACH AISLE.
8. PROVIDE WATER CONTAINMENT DURING CLEANING OPERATIONS.
9. PROTECTIVE SCAFFOLDING SHALL BE DESIGNED TO MAINTAIN CLEAR ACCESS TO ALL BUILDING DOORS DURING THE WORK.
10. ALL SCAFFOLDING TO BE REMOVED WHEN CONTRACTOR NOT ON SITE.
