1. Set goals.Startwithsimplegoalsandthenprogresstolongerrangegoals.Remembertomakeyourgoalsrealisticandachievable.Itseasytogetfrustratedandgiveupifyourgoalsaretooambitious.Ifyouhaventexercisedin awhile,ashort-termgoalmight be to walk ve minutes once or twice a day.
2. Think variety. Varyyouractivitiestokeepboredomatbay.Alternatewalkingorbikingwithswimmingoralow-impactaerobicsclass.Whentheweathercooperates,doyourexibility or stretching exercises outside. Play soccer with your kids. Join a health clubormartialartscentertobroadenyouraccesstodifferentformsofexercise.

Four pools indoors (open year-round):
A 25-yard by 25-meter, L-shaped, six lane competition pool w/low & high dives in the deep end. An activity pool for children, kept at 86F with water toys.
A 92F warm pool, fully accessible, w/ramp, pool lift & stairs for seniors, disabled & special programs
Two waterslides empty into the slide pool. These fully enclosed slides are 20 feet high and 180 feelong creating a thrill ride for people of all ages. Minimum height to ride the slide is 48 inches.
Two outdoor pools (open April-October): A 25-yard competition pool in a spectacular setting with a view of Jobs Peak and the Sierra Nevada A separate small pool ideal for younger children and families.
Exercise Equipment: Two treadmills, lifecycle, life step, multi-station gym, free weights (3 - 40 lbs)& a PreCor EFX556 located in the multipurpose room. This equipment is available during regular
