and/or bodily fluids* - Before donning gloves and after removing gloves

- After care of a resident with known or suspected - After handling soiled or contaminated items and infectious diarrhea*

equipment, including linens - Before and after eating or handling food*

- Before performing invasive procedures - After personal use of bathroom*

- Before handling sterile or clean supplies

*Situations where soap and water preferred over alcohol-based hand rub
