Deutsche Bahn’s trains
Intercity-Express (ICE)

All ICE trains have a very high standard of comfort and allow you to either concentrate on your work or just relax in your seat. The 1st class carriages provide a peaceful atmosphere with their generous design: wider seats and more leg room guarantee individual freedom. Passengers are well catered for in all ICE trains, whether in the on-board restaurant or self-service bistro.
Intercity/Eurocity (IC/EC)
The classic Intercity (IC) links Germany’s major cities.Eurocity (EC) meets the same international quality standards as the IC and links major European cities with Germany. Travel with the EC directly from Berlin to Prague in less than 5 hours and to Warsaw in less than 6 hours.
Regional transport (RE, RB, S-Bahn)
Deutsche Bahn’s regional trains operate at regular intervals and connect cities, regional centres and smaller towns in the countryside. Be it the “fast” Regional-Express (RE), the Regionalbahn (RB) or an S-Bahn train in a larger conurbation, all these services supplement the long-distance network to provide a seamless trip.
