CITIZENERGY – European Citizens for Renewables - will create a new European online platform for citizen investments in renewable energy source (RES) projects. Its goal is to boost effective citizen engagement and investment in renewable energies, and to set up a European network on citizen RES policy, bringing together relevant citizen energy initiatives. www.citizenergy.eu

Pan-European consortium accelerating “Future Internet-” related business ideas, start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises active in smart cities, cleantech and agri food by providing coaching, office space (Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Hamburg) and €5.5 million for at least 100 startups in open application grants. www.speedupeurope.eu

First Pan-European academic double peer-reviewed research compendium analysing multiple aspects of crowdfunding in order to foster further academic research and discussion. We believe that independent research will be a vital aspect in helping professionalise and advocate crowdfunding in the coming years.
