Office design
Business overview
Offices should not simply be places that pursue
efficiency and productivity but should also be an
expression of the company’s culture and ideas.
Our expert architects and interior designers
propose creative office designs.
Spatial design
We have also designed educational and cultural
facilities like universities, libraries and art museums,
public facilities like airports and government build-
ings, hotels, showrooms, personal residences and
other structures based on the concept of “spaces
that maximize creativity and communication.”
Custom furniture
We handle everything from design to manufacturing
and installation of custom furniture and fixtures. We can
also customize existing furniture. Leveraging our over-
seas network based on our many years of experience,
we can also special order furniture manufacturing
from factories not only in Japan but also overseas.
Interior finish work
We handle all kinds of construction work, from floor,
wall and ceiling construction based on drawings
and specifications to air conditioning and duct work,
plumbing work, disaster prevention work, network
security work, sign and billboard work and even
work to restore facilities to their original condition.
Furniture proposals and procurement service
We select furniture with design and function
suited to the space and coordinate light fixtures,
plants and artwork. We procure these items from
all over the world on our clients’ behalf and
deliver them.
Layout changes and relocation
Layout changes and relocations are essential for
maintaining comfortable office spaces. We
promptly propose optimal furniture and perform
various construction works according to the
conditions arising from changes in the business
environment.
Project management and supervision
On office relocation and remodeling projects, our
team of experts coordinates things to make sure
everything goes smoothly and efficiently until
construction is complete. We handle project
management and supervise things from the
standpoint of cost, scheduling and quality.
Maintenance
Our staffs are familiar with various products and
provide support for repair, parts replacement,
cleaning and other work. This support is available
even after the warranty has expired.

Strategy for genuine design
Throughout our long history of importing top-quality office furniture for the Japanese market,
our constant desire has been to seek out and acquire the best available examples of
what we consider “genuine design.” That's why we import so many Good Design Special Award-winning
office furniture pieces. Additionally, we actively sponsor design exhibitions and
hold numerous competitions for young designers.
It is through these types of activities that we discover top-quality designs,
help establish new and exciting designers, and nurture strong design sense throughout society.

Environmental considerations
We believe that environmental friendliness is a part of design and quality.
inter office ltd. only selects furniture that passes stringent European and American environmental regulations.
As opposed to the Japanese Act on Promoting Green Purchasing, which focuses on promoting use of
recycled plastic, these regulations require sustainability and long-term reduction of environmental impact.
Information management and protecting your privacy
inter office ltd. sees the workplace as an embodiment of the management strategy itself. As such,
we take utmost care when handling important information such as name lists and office floor plans.
