Christmas Decorations
As the Christmas season has officially started, we’d really like to make our Christmas tree a
little bit more creative and exciting! We would like to invite children and families to get their
creative hands busy and make a decoration for our tree. The decorations can be made in
any way you like and using a variety of materials and ideas - it’s up to you! It’s not a com-
petition, there’s no prizes, just for Christmas fun. All we ask is that each decoration has a
way of attaching it to the tree and is carefully named so we can return it before Christmas.
Please bring any decorations to your class teacher or the School Office so that we can get
them hung up. Thank you.

Indoor Athletics
This week a team of six Year 5 and 6 children attended the Indoor Athletics Cornwall Games Qualifier at Newquay
Sports Centre. Each child performed a field and track event. The field events included: throwing, jumping and the
'speed bounce'. The running events included: a sprint, hurdles and long distance. This event was extremely com-
petitive! The children competed excellently and performed so well that they have qualified for the next round of
the Cornwall School Games. Well done Perranporth!
