• CDPH provides resources for the LHD in each of these steps
Step 1: Recruiting Reporters
• LHD recruits:– CRH provides email template & Provider Portal Flyer
• CalREDIE Help recruits:– LHD provides list serve of providers– CRH contacts providers
• Tips: – Start with Reporters that you already have a positive
relationship with and that are good “paper reporters”.– Hospital ICPs
Step 2: Training Reporters• Documents:• Provider Portal Quick-Start Guide• Provider Portal Training Slides
• LHD trains:• LHD distribute documents and trains providers
• CalREDIE Help trains:• CalREDIE Help distribute documents• Providers attend webinar on October 7th 9-10am
• Tips:• Can be done onsite or over the phone• Feedback from Reporters is that not a lot of training is required• Also a good time to remind Reporters of Title 17 requirements

All Reporters are linked to at least one entry in the Report Source Dictionary
Two Scenarios1. Locations with 5 or fewer providers
• A Reporter account can be linked to 5 different Report Source dictionary entries (ie 5 individual providers).– Report Source Standard: Last Name, First Name, Credentials– Example: Smith, John, PA
2. Locations with more than 5 Providers• If a Reporter is reporting on behalf of more than 5 individual entries (ie
an ICP who reports for Kaiser).– Report Source Standard: Facility Name – Submitter– Example: Sutter Medical Center – Submitter
