“And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not
without honor, save in his own country, and in his own house. And he did not
many mighty works there because of their unbelief” (Matthew 13:57-58).
During the storm Jesus came walking on the water and Peter wanted to join
him. As long as he kept his eyes on Jesus, he could go through the winds, but
when he allowed doubt and fear to rule in his life he began to sink. Jesus was
there to rescue Peter. “And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and
caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou
doubt?” (Matthew 14:31).
The reason we don’t see more miracles in our churches is that people do not
fully put their trust and belief in Jesus Christ. That may seem a silly notion:
after all, didn’t he speak the worlds into existence? Why is it that we have
difficulty believing that God is all powerful and our healer? I need to pray more
and ask God to help me to believe. It’s only natural to have biggie size faith for
someone else, but when it comes down to my life, my needs, I have a tendency
to rationalize and decide that it works for everyone else, but not for me, Lord.
As we allow our thoughts to dictate our heart, we begin to speak the word of
doubt, and Jesus has to say that he couldn’t do the miracles that he wanted to do
because the people didn’t believe.
How sad, that people who come for help, in dire circumstances, must go away
from our churches in the same manner as they came. What does this do? It
causes them to doubt that God loves them and cares about them. The very thing
that they desire is kept from them because people who know the truth and come
to church so often that it has become just another pastime, don’t believe God
will work miracles today.
Before we can obtain all of the promises of God, we must be obedient to his
will. We can’t allow our spirit to hinder the work of the Holy Ghost in our
midst. I am ready to see more and more of the miracle working power of Jesus.
I want to experience the anointing that breaks the yoke, I want speak the word
of faith and tell cancer, diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, polio, glaucoma, the
common cold: Go, in Jesus’ Name, and have them to leave immediately.
Nothing is impossible to them that believe, but it will take more than a
haphazard skip through the Bible and through the prayer room five minutes
before service, to cause the miracles that I’m talking about to come to pass. Is
there anyone reading this that really desires to be a part of Apostolic Revival at
The Pentecostals of Greenville?
Make your choice, today: Believe that God can and will do it. And, start to
exercise your faith to receive your miracle. Worship with us. –gm

Mission Statement:
The Pentecostals of Greenville is an Apostolic church. We are committed to exalt Jesus Christ; to
worship Him in Spirit and in Truth; to proclaim the gospel; to evangelize our community; to minister
to people’s needs & to provide a spiritual atmosphere of fellowship and growth.
The Vancouver Sun printed these actual children’s
answers given on a Bible knowledge test:
1)Joshua led the Hebrews in the battle of Geritol.
2) Moses went to the top of Mount Cyanide to get the 10
Commandments.
3) The seventh commandment is “Thou shalt not admit
adultery.”
4) Lot’s wife was a pillar of salt by day and a ball of fire by night.
5) Paul preached acrimony, which is another name for marriage.
6) David fought the Finkelsteins, a race of people who lived in Biblical times.
7) A Christian should have only one wife. This is called monotony. (From
“Perspectives”)
The Pentecostals —Quick lines
* What’s next? All that is left to do is to praise him. We have been very busy
in the past few months. Sometimes, when we get too busy, we forget to pray.
* Has your light gone out? Then, it’s time to refuel and ignite a fresh
Pentecostal flame. This city need people who are not afraid to proclaim the
gospel.
* Shine your light brightly in the darkened world without God.
* When the dust settles: God is.
* God’s attitude: “If you don’t care, I don’t care” (Ephesians 3:12-21).
* Quote: “I smell the aroma of the buffet banquet coming out of the heavenly
kitchen of glory” (Kenny Marshburn).
