Dear Colleagues,
Welcome to the Fourth VERVE Symposium.
The VERVE symposium in conjunction with LINC Australia is
committed to vascular education of the highest standard. Last
December we witnessed the third VERVE continue what has
become a dynamic era in Australasian vascular education. We
saw a number of global experts come together in Sydney to
share their tremendous knowledge and expertise.
There was world-class discussion inspired by live cases over
two and a half exciting days. These cases were interspersed
by short, sharp, practical talks designed to provide further
detail and underscore the best practice being demonstrated.
The symposium proved to be a most rewarding experience for
all of those in attendance and this year we promise to make it
even better.
In 2016 there will be more live cases, new experts from
around the world and an even broader program to
encapsulate all aspects of vascular disease. There will be
a new concurrent venous and dialysis access program
which will accommodate the interest of the vascular
community in these rapidly evolving fields and on its
25-year anniversary we will incorporate a special focus
on “EVAR-Past, Present and Future”.
Our friends from Leipzig will return to underline our strong
collaborative partnership and ensure that the LINC philosophy
is brought to our shores with seamless professionalism.
Here at VERVE we are passionate about providing a unique
vascular educational event for our region. Our course is
designed to appeal to all of those involved in the delivery of
advanced vascular care, those who wish to be exposed to
best-vascular-practice and to observe first-hand, the world’s
leading interventionists at work.
Dierk and I would love to see you this December for the latest
instalment of the high-definition VERVE Symposium. Please
join us in Sydney.
Sincerely,
Ramon Varcoe, Course Co-Director
