1.Rubber feet fit into the endsof the aluminium leg frames
to protect any surface theSit&Store is placed on.
2.Aluminium leg frames aresupplied with fixing points
for all other componentsattached and threaded.
The leg frames are to be available in a range of
surface finishes, dull or bright polished.
The option of wooden legframes is also a possibility
but would require someslightly different fixings.
3.Plywood side panelsscrew onto the legs.
Side panels are to beavailable in a rangeof surface finishes,
painted as here, or upholstered.
4.Veneered side panels
screw onto the legs.

different veneersor upholstered.
5.Toughened glass shelves
slot into leg frames, and are secured with plastic
and/or rubber fittings.
Glass shelves are to beavailable in a range of
different tints to suitupholstery/veneers.
6.Rigid aluminium base frame
to be supplied preformed,connects the legs and creates strong base.
7.Aluminium or steel runners
for footrest drawer arefitted to the frame.
The runners will be suppliedmatching the legs as here,
or in a painted finish to match the drawer.
8.Cushioned/upholstered panels
clip onto the leg frames.
Upholstered panels are tobe available in a range of leather and fabrics.
9.Aluminium or steel seat frame is
bolted onto the base frame.
Strong elastic straps are tobe provided pre-fitted to
support the cushion.
10.Aluminium or steel backrest frame is
bolted onto the base frame.
The two parts of the frame arejoined with bolts to allow
angle adjustment.

11.Bent plywood armrests fit into
slots in leg frames together withplastic fitting clipped into the leg
to allow backrest adjustment.
Armrests are bolted to thebackrest to allow pivotwhen angle adjusted.

of surface finishes,different veneers
or upholstered.
12.Upholstered foam cushion is
fitted over the seat frame.
Cushion secured in place byflaps of the upholstery fabric wrapping around the frame
to be secured out of sightwith zips and/or Velco.
The seat cushion is to beavailable in a range of
upholstery options.
13.Next the footrest drawer is
constructed and fitted.
Bent plywood base to be available in a range
of surface finishes,different veneers
or painted.
14.Plywood sides to drawer
joined with concealedmetal fittings andscrewed to base.
Plywood drawer panels tobe available in a range
of surface finishes,different veneers
or painted.
15.Plywood lid to rear part of
drawer to keep out dustand ensure content not visible from any angle.
Plywood lid is fitted to drawerwith metal hinge screwed
to lid and drawer box.
Plywood lid to be suppliedin matching finish to
base of drawer.
16.Drawer secured to runners
with several screws on each side.
All fixtures and fasteningsare to be of materials and
colours to minimise visual impact, and concealed
where possible.
17.Aluminium or steel mounting plate
for footrest fitted to drawer withpre-assembled hinge and
support mechanism tosecure footrest at
different angles.
18.Bent plywood front panel
is screwed or clippedto footrest bracket.
Bent plywood front panelto be available in a range
of surface finishes,different veneers
or painted.
19.Upholstered, plywood backed
foam cushion secured tobracket with clips
or screws.
The footrest cushion is tobe available in a range of
upholstery options tomatch the seat.
20. Finish!The final stage is to clip thebent plywood panels to the
rear of the backrest andthe base frame.
The bent plywood back panelsare to be available in a range of surface finishes, different
veneers or painted.
The Sit&Store is now ready foruse, for relaxing on and forkeeping useful items close
for convenience and comfort.
