1990-Asian Paints (South Pacific) Ltd. Is subsidiary of Asian paints with a holding of 51% operates under brand name Apco coatings. It operates in Australia, Fiji, Tonga, Soloman Islands and Vanuatu Ltd.,
1997-. It was formed with the objective of providing solutions to the paint requirements of Indian Automobile manufacturers
2002-Asian paint acquired Berger international in Year November 2002 with holding of 51.1% stack, in August 2013 company brought 25.81% stack and then later in October 2013 it brought another 19.57% stack with total holding of Asian paints is now 96.48%.
2014- Asian Paints acquired Ess Ess bathroom and to acquire its entire front-end sales business including brands, network and sales infrastructure
2015-Asian Paint acquired 51% stack in Kadisco one of the leading paint companies in Ethiopia. Kadisco is engaged in the manufacturing and selling of decorative paints, industrial paints, automotive paints, other coatings and adhesives in Ethiopia.
