Rationalize the nutrition of its herds to make profitable cereal by protecting the healthy living of animals: A stake for which the granu-lation is a main advantage.
The granule shape of food facilitates their manipulation, avoids segregation of the various food components during transport and handling. By the fines clogging we limit metabolic problems (acidosis in rumi-nants ...) The ingestion and digestibility is increased by animals.
It is possible to use binding to favor the granulation and improve the nutritional value of food the main binders are molas-ses, fats, oils etc. The granulation allows the integration of rich components but low palatability and also the integration of flavors, vitamin and mineral supplements.
The pellets mills do the work of compaction of the material forcing it to pass through the matrices compression channel. The matter volume is reduced by 4 and the pellets obtained have a temperature of about 100 ° C. The set of pellets mill body and motor is assembled on a steel frame supported by 4 anti-vibration pits. The product is transported by a screw equipped with a frequency converter to the mixer's blades. Steam or molasses are injected into the mixer. This mixing descends into the matrices by a feeder bowl until the decompression set. The compression set is composed of a horizontal or vertical die with flange fixing and quick disassembly.
The matrix revolves around two fixed compression rollers, held by two central disks. The two rollers mounted on eccentric, are easily adjustable for position screw in order to adjust the compression of the Pellet. At the die outlet a pellets reception carter equipped with two adjustable devices short-pellets then ensures the evacuation of the finished product.

The coolerLocated at the outlet of the pellets mill, the cooler is at the hot pellets reception Cuba. A quick cooler allows the pellets to keep their shape, its hardness and prevents the develop-ment of moisture during storage.
The cooling consists in making cross the air at room tempera-ture in the pellets bed in contact with fresh air, these cool. A flow of air through the pellets from bottom to top is created by a fan. Hot pellets are deposited in the upper part of the tank and cooled pellets are sequentially removed from the bottom of this.

The boiler produces steam, which is necessary for the good production of pellets by facilitate the flour agglom-eration. Boilers are supplied steam KIT (pipes, valves, detectors, etc.) For regulating the steam flow reaching the pellets mill mixer.

Located below the cooler, the fan creates a high air flow (cooling phase). Cyclone allows the separation of powders and air in order to expel clean air. A valve or lock system allows the collection of powders in sacks.

After the cooler or crumbler, pellets are sieved to remove dusts and granular waste to obtain a clean and regular Pellet. The finished pellets is evacuated to: storage silos, bagging line and distribution chain ...
The powders and wastes are recycled through the circuit of granulation, avoiding any products loss. Sifter is equipped with a vibrating grid calibrated to the desired result. The surface of the grid (sieve size is size is calculated according to flow).

At the cooler outlet, the flow of pellets passes between two grooved rollers with adjustable spacing allowing crumbling the pellets according to the size adapted to the animal’s morphology. The crumbler can break the pellets into smaller pieces. Advised for poultry food.
