Summary

• Reflectance spectroscopy: cheap, non-destructive,

applicable at the crime scene

• Measure fractions of hemoglobin

• Determine age of bloodstain

• Discriminate between blood and non-blood

• Determine influence of environment on ageing

• Extend measurements to dark colored

substrates

• Integrate spectroscopic measurement into
