From 2004-2013 he has beenworking forDelphisteeringandNexteerautomotiveasSeniorElectricalEngineer.Currentlyhe isworkingatHallamechatronicsasChiefScientist-Controls.Heisresponsibleformotordrivecontrolforvariousautomotiveapplications.Hisresearchinterestincludeselectricalmachinesandvariablespeeddrivesincludingsensorlessmotorcontroldrives.Summary:This presentation goes over the History of various sensorless control techniques and shows how thesesensorless techniques are being introduced in automotive industry. Thematerial will cover new redundantarchitectures used in safety critical components such as steering and brakes and show how sensorlesstechniqueswillbene5itthesenewarchitectures.
