New Bible Study Beginning in September!
We are currently organizing our next bible study at St. Mary which will be Acts – The Spread of the Kingdom. This study will follow what is recorded about the early Church and how it can be applied to our lives today. If you have not attended our studies before you are more than welcome to start now. All you need is a desire to learn more about our faith and what we profess as Catholic Christians. There will be an organizational meeting on Monday, September 8
th at 7pm in the Worship Space to answer
questions and determine how many study materials will be needed. If you cannot attend this meeting, please contact Deacon Randy through the parish office before the meeting date.

The invitation to respond to God’s call is extended to all who are interested in exploring the Catholic way of life. The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) process is open to adults, teens, and children of catechetical age (7 years of age or older) who * Have never been baptized.
* Have been baptized Catholic but have not completed full initiation into the Church through Confirmation and/or Eucharist.
* Have been baptized in another faith.
* Would like to explore Roman Catholicism and make no commitment at this time.

Be Our Guest Adult Day Service (BOGADS) Providing Day Care For Loved Ones With Dementia
Be Our Guest Day Care offers specialized Care for your loved ones that suffer from forms of Dementia and Alzheimer’s. BOGADS provides recreational and social activities which helps participants find purpose and meaning to their day. All Guests receive a hot delicious meal, medication reminders, daily supervision, and activities to meet their needs. Caregivers receive a break from 24 hour care, a partner in caring and reassurance that their loved one is safe. We also offer a monthly support group. Be Our Guest Adult Day Service is a program of Livingston County Catholic Charities and is open Monday through Friday 8am to 6 pm. Rates are based on a sliding scale and billed for hourly rates. Run for Their Lives 5C Walk September 13, 2014
Eat Chocolate & Save Babies 4th Annual Run For Their Lives 5C Charity Walk in Brighton.
All proceeds help Pregnancy Helpline supply infants with
diapers, formula, food, clothing & Life! Also provides their
parents with parenting education and a parent mentor.
Walkers receive a collectible t-shirt and 5 chocolate
coupons (5C) for chocolate treats being distributed by
local shops in downtown shops.
The Chocolate-Palooza will take place during the walk,
from 10am to noon at the Mill Pond Gazebo and features
the Christian Rock Band The City of Nations.
When: September 13th - 9:15 check in, 9:45 kick off
Where: Check in and parking at Brighton Church of the
Nazarene, 7669 Brighton Rd. Brighton. The walk runs 1
mile through downtown to the Gazebo.
Cost: $20 each. Teams and families can add walkers for
$10 per additional walker.
