Dear Bellacina Residents,
Hello Fall! It’s been so nice to hear chatter and laughter again in the Amenity Center!
Thank you all for your patience and understanding as we roll out another phase.
This month groups and clubs will be meeting again. Please check the attached calendar
for more information. It is very important that you RSVP with your Lifestyle Team or
Manager for each gathering as space is now limited.
I have arranged for the Currybrat Food truck to be on site for a German dinner! Your
Lifestyle team will be providing canned German beer. This month Ladies Lunch Bunch
will meet on October 12th at noon at Asaro’s North Venice location.
The Halloween themed Wine Down Wednesday on October 28th will look a little
different than in the past but we are still eager to mix and mingle, responsibly. We also
have an off site Wine Down Wednesday at Café Venice on October 7th.
Pool Side Bingo will be taking place and voluntary donations to the American Cancer
Society will be appreciated. A pumpkin painting contest will be offered at the end of the
month. We encourage all snowbirds to join as well. A winner will be determined by the
most “Likes” on Facebook.
Our Esplanade Connect spotlight shines on Nunzio DiMillo this month! Bellacina is so
lucky to have such great residents who take pride in their community. Peek inside for
more information on all of the great activities offered in October.
Warm regards, [email protected]

A MESSAGE FROM YOUR CAM
Dear Bellacina Residents,
It is exciting that we have implemented the Phase II of the COVID-19 Safety Protocols. We look forward to
seeing more of the residents around the Amenity Center as you take part in the activities available. I en-
courage you to review the amenity-specific COVID-19 Safety Guidelines found on the Bellacina by Casey Key
website, www.bellacinacaseykey.com, under each amenity header on the main page.
I wanted to make sure you all continue to be aware of the work order system we have put in place to better
serve you. Utilizing this process will help us keep better track of the work orders placed by residents and be
able to hold our landscaping vendor accountable. When the online resident portal was launched, you
should have received your login credentials via e-mail. If you do not have access to the online resident por-
tal, please reach out and we will provide you with the instructions.
In order to submit a work order please refer to the step by step instructions below:
https://popehoa.vmsclientonline.com/
1. Log into your account by using your account number and password
2. Click the tab near the left-hand navigation box that states "FORMS"
3. Click "E-Mail" located next to the Work Order Request box
4. Fill out the information requested
5. Click submit
Once you submit your request, it will be received by Management, who will create a work order, send it to
the vendor, and inform you that such action was taken. Please take the time to include as much information
as you can about your issue. This is the information that is used to communicate with the vendor.
We feel this new system will improve the overall process of getting work orders completed on time and with
better communication.
Use restriction reminders - Dogs
Any pet, including Dogs, must be carried or kept on a leash when outside of a Home or fenced-in area. No
pet shall be kept tied up outside of a Home or in any screened porch or patio, unless someone is present in
the Home. The exception to this rule is the Dog Parks where dogs may be off-leash. However, while in the
Dog Parks, the dog handler must have a leash available and in hand at all times.
An Owner shall immediately pick up and remove any solid animal waste deposited by such Owner's pet on
the Property. This includes picking up after your dog on the apron (the grass between
the sidewalk and curb), yards, and all common areas including Dog Parks.
Thank you again,
Ken Warren, LCAM Pope Properties

ESPLANADE CONNECT
It only took one visit to Osprey for Tracey and I to fall in love with the area and decided to buy a condo there. During just our second winter here as snowbirds, we knew we wanted to be here full time and discovered Bellacina. We moved from Cape Cod in December of 2018. It is truly the people here that make this community what it is and we are grateful for that. We have been enjoying the beaches, sunsets, Disney, golf and pickleball, and just spending time with some of our new friends and neighbors.
I grew up in South Portland, Maine and enlisted in the Air Force at the age of 19 after one year at the University of Maine that didn’t go so well. I was very fortunate to be placed in Air Traffic Control as a specialty, spending two years at Laughlin AFB, TX and four years at Ramstein, Germany. I was then hired by the FAA and spent a majority of my career at Boston Logan Airport. Along 31 years of ATC I got to see and do some pretty cool things like work with Air Force One many times, work the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds, the Concorde’s last transatlantic flight, and more in-flight emergencies and tense situations than I can count. I was a Boston controller during 9/11. It was a great job with a horrible schedule and commute, but I wouldn’t change anything.
After my retirement from the FAA in 2015, I was hired by Raytheon as a consultant, helping design new workstations for both tower and radar air traffic controllers. I am an avid road cyclist and also enjoy playing guitar, often times with some of my Bellacina neighbors.
Tracey and I both try to give back to our community when we can. Tracey is active with Toys For Tots and works with the Amenity Center sub-committee for our HOA transition. Each year for about the last ten years, I have raised funds for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and participated in a 150 mile cycling event. I am working with the Landscape sub-committee and am currently getting a CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) certification in order to aid our community in the event of a natural disaster or emergency situation. We both feel lucky that we have stumbled upon this little bit of paradise.
