Orphanage Visit to “Jamiyah Abdullah Ibne Umme Maktum” Kondhwa Khurd, pune
As per the tradition of the Computer Science Department, this year also the Department
organized an Orphanage Visit on 17th January, 2017. The Department visited “Jamiyah Abdullah IbneUmmeMaktum” for blind boys at Patel Manzil, near savera park KondhwaKhurd, pune.
The staff and students of computer science department were gathered near department at 10 am and reached the orphanage at 11am.
Jamiyah Abdullah IbneUmmeMaktum is an orphanage for blind boys holding about 27 boys of age group 08 to 20 years who are blind. The home provides the boys all the basic amenities like food, clothing, shelter and medicine as well as take care of their education.
The Staff members interacted with the boys enquiring about their needs and their problems. The boys also responded happily and positively. As per the requirements of the Orphanage given by the in-charges, the Department arranged for grocery items like Rice, Masoor dal, Oil etc. Our teachers, handed the over these purchased items to the In-charge Mr. RaisAhemad. The boys were very delighted to receive all these gifts. All the required items were purchased by the money which was contributed by the staff of computer science department. The boys and the in-charges were very grateful for the things provided and thanked for us for the same.

Orphanage Visit to– Sofosh
The P.G. dept of Commerce alongwith the students visited an Orphanage called “SOFOSH” – A Society of Friends of Sasoon Hospital” and “Shreevatsa – a special child care centre run by SOFOSH on 12th November, 2016.
The students and teachers generously contributed funds for this noble cause and purchased various utility items like stationary, clothes and food items with the funds collected, products like Horlicks, chocos, milk powder, soap, toothpaste, baby powder, diapers, sweaters, socks, books, pencils and many more basic and essential products which are required on a daily basis for the kids were donated to this Orphanage.
The students and teachers interacted and played with the little older kids and had a wonderful time. The visit was a great eye opener for all of us. The entire visit was co-ordinated by Prof. Ruksar Sharif.

Orphanage Visit to A Madrassa: Aman Nisha Masjid
The students and staff members of Commerce (P.G.) dept collected funds and donated food materials to a Madrassa of AmanNisha Masjid at Camp.
The students and staff member Prof. Parveen Shaikh visited the madrassa on 9th November, 2016 and interacted with the children in the madrassa, they distributed food materials like pulses, sugar, dal, oil and other basic necessities. They were also acquainted with their daily routine of obtaining both Islamic and Modern Education.

Orphanage Visit to Jeevan Vardhini Apang School & Vasatigruh”,
Dive and “Jamea Ibn-E-Makdum Madarasa”, Kondawa
As per the tradition of the Department of Computer Science of visiting and helping the
needy students every year, this year also the Department organized an Orphanage Visit on
18th January, 2016. The Department visited the “ Jeevan Vardhini Apang School &
Vasatigruh”, Dive and “Jamea Ibn-E-Makdum Madarasa”, Kondawa.

The staff and students of the department gathered at about 12.15 pm and reached
the orphanage at 1.00 pm. The In-charge of the orphanage Mr. Balasaheb Zende and the
orphanage students and staff welcomed us wholeheartedly. Mr. Balasaheb Zende showed
around the infrastructure of the organization. He also briefed us with the information
about the orphanage.
“Jeevan Vardhini Apang School & Vasatigruh” is an orphanage holding about
mentally handicapped 27 students of age group 4 to 20 years who are orphans. The school
provides all the basic amenities like food, clothing, shelter and medicine to that students.
Along with this the School also looks after the proper education of the students.

problems. The girls also responded happily and positively towards our students. This
made the environment very cheerful and happy.
As per the requirements of the Orphanage given by the in-charges, the
Department arranged for grocery items like Tur dal, sugar, Oil and musical instrument.

required items were purchased by the money which was contributed by the students and
staff of the entire college.

In addition to this we also distributed 25 sweaters to “Jamea Ibn-E-Makdum Madarasa”
needed by the blind childrens of the orphanage. The children and the in-charge Mr. Rais
Ahemad (Mufti) and staff were very grateful for the things provided and thanked for us
for the same.
At the end of the visit, the students as well as the girls were very happy to have
spent the together. Before taking leave, Our Head wished the Home and the childrens a
happy and prosperous life.

Children’s and “Madrasa- E- Jamatus Swaleha”.
As per the tradition of the Department of Computer Science of visiting and helping those
in need, this year also the Department organized an Orphanage Visit on 13th September,
2014. The Department visited the “Saraswati Anath Shikshan Ashram’s” for Children’s
and “Madrasa- E- Jamatus Swaleha”.

The staff and students of the department gathered at about 12.15 pm and
reached the orphanage at 1.00 pm. The In-charge of the orphanage Mr. Devidas Survase
and the orphanage boys welcomed us wholeheartedly. Mr. Devidas Survase showed
around the infrastructure of the organization. He also briefed us with the information
about the orphanage.

and their problems. The boys also responded happily and positively towards our students.
Our students and the boys of the orphanage even played games among themselves. This
made the environment very cheerful and happy.

Orphanage Visit to Tayyabia Orphanage, Pune
The department of chemistry organized a visit to Tayyabia Orphanage Trust, East Street,
Camp on 28th September 2014.
Staff members asked the authorities for the permission and the requirements and needs of
the children staying in the orphanage. Accordingly, 120 sets of stationary materials which
included pen, pencil, rubber, compass box were bought. In addition 30 pairs of school shoes
were also bought for the students of Std. I and Std. II. Packets of snacks and Cadbury were also
given to all the hostel inmates.

The staff members along with the H.O.D. Dr. Khursheed Ahmed, Chemistry students, & non
teaching staff visited the orphanage.
Dr. Khursheed Ahmed talked to the children and inspired them to study hard and achieve
their future goals. The Principle of the Tayyabia Orphanage Mr. Abdul Wahid had interacted
with all of us & appreciated this work on behalf of Tayyabia Orphanage Trust, & requested to
visit again in future.

Peth, Pune and Darul Uloom-Gharib Nawaz (Yasin Jhuk Dargah).
As per the tradition of the Computer Science Department, visiting and helping the needy
on every Independence Day, this year also the Department organized an Orphanage Visit
on 17th August, 2013. The Department visited the St. Michael’s Home for Girls situated in
Guruwar Peth, Pune and Darul Uloom-Gharib Nawaz (Yasin Jhuk Dargah).

reached the orphanage at 1.00 pm. The In-charge of the orphanage Mrs. Seema Arole and
the orphanage girls welcomed us wholeheartedly. Mrs. Seema A. greeted our Head, Mrs.
Shakila S. and showed around the infrastructure of the organization. She also briefed us
with the information about the orphanage.
St. Michael’s Home is an orphanage holding about 150 girls of age group 5
to 20 years who are either orphans or single parent child. The Home provides the girls all
the basic amenities like food, clothing, shelter and medicine. Along with this the Home
also looks after the proper education of the girls.

their problems. The girls also responded happily and positively towards our students. Our
students and the girls of the orphanage even played games among themselves. This made

Department arranged for school-bags, school socks, hair-bands and accessories for the
girls. Our Head, Mrs. Shakila S handed the over these purchased items to the In-charge

items were purchased by the money which was contributed by the students and staff of the
entire college.

Orphanage Visit to“Madrasa Hazarat Umme Aiman” and “Al-Falah Madrasa” Kondhwa , Pune
Computer Science Department has the tradition of giving their helping hands to the needy people of our society. In regard to the same, this year on 14th Aug 2012 the department visited “Madrasa Hazarat Umme Aiman” and “Al-Falah Madrasa” is located in Kondhwa. The organization is more than a home because here the children have no feelings of orphan.

The staff members along with the students reached the “Al-Falah around 12:30 pm. The Kids warmly welcomed us and then interacted with the students and the staff members and also answered all the questions asked by the students.
The department donated 110 Meter Uniform Cloth for Boys & 10 meter for Girls, 2 White Board and Stationery .

The Department also Visited “Hazrat Umme Aiman Madarasa” located in Kondhwa. Madrasa Orphanage is a girl’s orphanage having current strength of 50 Girl’s from 4 to 20 years of age. The girl’s are provided with all the facilities such as food, clothing, shelter, medical and education. The in charges of the orphanage are qualified they only teaches the girls in the orphanage. They take the classes of languages like English, Arabic and Urdu and drawing, painting, mehendi.

Some Girls offer The “Tilawate Quran” and “ Naat ” the holy verses of Quran which reselembled peace and harmony for the entire world and prayed for the well being and prosperity of our department.

The department donated cereals (Tur Dal,Moong Dal and Chana Dal)and Food grains(Rice) along with Washing Powder,Soap(Washing and Bathing),Colgate, Cooking Oil and Coconut Oil. All the required materials were purchased by the money contributed by the entire college. Before leaving the place, on behalf of Computer Science Department, Mrs. Shakila S. (H.O.D) wished a progressive and a happy life to the orphanage children.
