Who qualifies?
Non-Residential AEP Ohio customer with 12 month history at their location
•Not a national account•Not a mercantile customer•Has six or fewer accounts in same name, none of which individually exceed 200,000 kWh annually
Express Install Program
“Retroactive Projects” Self Direct Program
• Available to largest energy users– 700,000 kWh+ annually or– Part of National Account
• For installations completed after January 1, 2011
• Incentives paid at 75%• Fund future projects
Bid to Win Targeted Projects
• Projects must result in a minimum of 3,000,000 kWh of energy savings.
• Minimum payback of at least one year and incentive is limited to total project cost.
• Incentive bonus of $0.005/kWh
– If project delivers 90-110% estimated savings post verification
First Auction Results
• First auction event was held on October 25, 2013.– The event consisted of two auctions of $750,000 and $350,000
in incentives; each auction had two winners.– Awardees included 2 customers and 2 Solution Providers.
• A total of $2.2 million $2.2 million was awarded for energy efficiency projects.– Expected to achieve 45,224,757 kWh in annual energy savings
at an average incentive of $0.0486/kWh.
Advanced Lighting Controls Initiative

Community Energy Savers Pilot
• Energy Savers is a pilot program in select communities in 2014
• Objectives: raise awareness of energy efficiency, increase participation and increase energy savings
• Communities are being provided marketing, outreach and technical support to assist with promotion
• Each community will be given a participation goal from January – June 2014
• Upon meeting the goals, communities are eligible for awards

Students Learn, Families Save Families with students in schools served by AEP Ohio are learning how to save energy and money at home if their children are participating in e3smartSM
