Overseas Scholarship Disciplines - 2011
We seek to recruit scholars for the following disciplines:• Engineering including:
– Chemical– Petroleum– Electrical– Instrumentation– Mechanical
• Geology• Geophysics• Accounting & Finance

Potential Scholars – What We’re Looking For…
• A strong interest in one of the stated disciplines and a real passion to pursue this as a future career
• Excellent English language skills - minimum IELTS score of 6.0
• Towjehya students - GPA of 97%+ (For engineering, geology, & geophysics, strong Maths / Sciences)
• IB students - a minimum of 34 points at diploma level– For engineering/geology/geophysics, Physics / Chemistry / Maths scores of
5+ at the Higher level. For accounting & finance, a Maths score of 5+ at the Higher level.
• A level students – ABB. For engineering/geology/geophysics, Maths and Chemistry, Physics preferred. For accounting & finance, subjects should include Maths
• Self starters – young people with enquiring minds – evidence of team playing abilities

• All university fees paid for by Bapco
• Generous living and utility allowances – to include food, utilities, , internet, books, clothing, local travel
