1 Zucchini Flowers (Fiori di Zucchine) Mariola’s Italian Kitchen INGREDIENTS Zucchini flowers 2 cups flour 3 eggs Salt and pepper, to taste 2 ¼ cups water Oil for frying DIRECTIONS Mix together the flour, eggs, salt and pepper. Add 2 cups of water to start. You want to get the mixture to be the consistency of a pancake batter, only thinner…so you may need to add in a little bit more water. Once mixed, dip flowers into the batter to coat fully. Then place them in the hot oil to fry until golden brown. Repeat the process with all the flowers. When cooked, place them on a paper towel to drain off the excess oil. Cool slightly, then enjoy!
