SAFETY, USES AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Warning! When using electric machines, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury, including the following. Read al l these instructions before attempting to operate this product and save these instructions. For safe operation:1. Keep work area clean Cluttered areas and benches invite injuries.2. Consider work area environment Don't expose power machines to rain. Don't use power machines in damp or wet locations. Keep working area well lit. Don't use power machines in presence of flammable liquids or gases.3. Keep visitors away Do not let visitors contact machine or extension cord. All visitors should be kept away from work area.4. Store idle machines When not in use, machines should be stored in dry, high, or locked-up place, out of the reach of children.5. Dress properly Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. They can be caught in moving outdoors. Wear protective hair covering to contain long hair.6. Use safety glasses Also use face or dust mask if cutting operation is dusty.7. Don't abuse cord Never carry machine by cord or yank it to disconnect it from receptacle. Keep cord from heat, oil and sharp edges.8. Secure work Use clamps or a vise to hold work. It's safer than using your hand and it frees both hands to operate machine.9. Disconnect machines When not in use, before servicing, and when changing accessories such as blades, bits and cutters.10. Outdoor use extension cords When machine is used outdoors, use only extension cords intended for use outdoors and so marked.11. Avoid unintentional starting Don't carry plugged-in machine with finger on switch. Be sure switch is off when plugged in.12. Never operate the tool if any of the following problems are noted: If the Hammer is too hot, if insulation is torn, frayed, or missing, if the plug is broken, if there is a poor connection at the socket or at the connector, if the tool runs abnormally or if there is excessive sparking. The tool must be repaired immediately if any of these conditions are observed. Further use of the tool without repair is prohibited.

Operation instructions WARNING:

1. Before starting work, always examine the working area for concealed electric

lines, gas and pipes, e.g. with a metal detector.

2. Always use the correct supply voltage

The voltage of the power source must agree with the information on the

nameplate of the machine.

1. Changing the tool

The SDS-plus tool is designed to be freely movable.

Inserting:

Clean and lightly oil the tool

before inserting. Insert the

dust-free tool into the tool

holder with twisting until it

latches. The tool locks itself.

(Fig.2)

Removing

Push back the locking sleeve of the tool mount and remove the tool.

2. Putting into operation

Switching on: Press ON/OFF Switch

Switching off: Release ON/OFF Switch

3. Auxiliary handle

For safety reasons, the hammer drill may only be operated using the

auxiliary handle.

Rotating the auxiliary handle to the desired position reduces operator fatigue

and enables the operator to adopt a safe stance.

To ratate the auxiliary handle, first release the handle by turning it

counterclockwise. Then retighten the auxiliary handle.

4. Setting the depth gauge

Loosen the auxiliary handle attachment and place

the straight part of the depth gauge in the hole.

Adjust the depth gauge and retightenthe auxiliary

handle attachment.

5. Built-in Dust Protection

The dust protection cap prevents to a large extent

the entry of drilling dust during operation. When

inserting the tool, take care of that the dust

protection cap is not damaged. (Fig.3)

Replace a damaged dust protectioncap

immediately.

Troubleshooting guide

PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE

1.Electric motor does not rotate switch on power supply

1. Breakage of power supply2. Poor contact of no effect of the switch3. Armature winding or field winding has been burnt4. Breakage of the stator winding5.Burshes are worn out

2. Abnormal noise and electric motor does not rotates or ratates very slowly.

1. The contact of the switch has been burnt.2. Mechanical part is blocked.3. Overload of electric motor caused by excessive drilling depth or pressure.4. Partial short circuit or open circuit of armature.5. Lower voltage of main power.

1. Inspect power supply 2. Repair or change the switch3. Change the armature winding or field winding.4. Weld again if terminal the winding5. Change the carbon brushes

SUGGESTED CORRECTIVEACTION

1. Repair or change the switch. 2. Check mechanical part.3. Reduce drilling depth or pressure. Decrease force.4. Repair or change the armature.5. Adjust the voltage of main power

1. Overload, dull bit 2. Damp winding 3. Electric motor can not run freely because of incorrect fitting 4. Decrease of voltage

3.The surface of the gearbox becomes over hot.

1.refuce load, sharpen bit2.Dry the winding3.Check the armatrue to the see if it is blocked or rubs the core.4.Adjust the voltage of main power.

4.Round sparkleor bright sparkleof commutator

1. Short circuit or brealage of armature2. The surface of the armature is not smooth and clean

1.Repair the armature2.Free from foreighn objects to smooth the surface of the armature

Hammer drilling Drilling Chiseling

7.Drill with cylindrical shaft

Steel, wood and plastic can

be drilled with the ring gear

chuck and the cylindrical

shaft.(Fig.5)

WARNING:

When hammer drilling you will require a low presure. too much pressure will

place unnecessary load on the motor. Check the drill bits regularly. Resharpen

or replace blunt drill bits.

Inspection and Maintenance WARNING: Remove the mains plug from the socket before carrying out anywork

on the device.

1. Changing the carbon brushes

Changing both carbon brushes at the same time----the machine brushes must

be checked up periodically. Seriously worn or torn carbon brushes whose

length is near the limited line must be changed. Always keep carbon brush

clean and make sure it can move freely.

Unscrew the carbon brush cap with a screwdriver. Remove carbon brush and

replace with a new carbon brush. Tighten the carbon brush cap after checking

or replacing a carbon brush.

2. Always keep the device and ventilation slots clean.

Clean the tool holder.

3. Always check for obvious defects and repair as necessary.

The tool must be checked up regularly to see whether the cable is damaged,

whether the switch is working properly, whether the cord is short-circuited and

that all the moving parts are in good condition.

Warning:1. Damaged tools must be sent to the specified repair centre Our company will

not be responsible for wrong use or repairs performed by a nonspecified expert.

2. The technical data and spare units may be changed as necessary upon further

development without further notification.
