As I read on the internet , American Association of Petroleum Geologis t (AAPG) is a large professional geological society, especially petroleum geoscientist. AAPG is headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The purpose of AAPG is to boost scientific research, to develop the geosciences, and to encourage high professional conduct. AAPG has programs, such as certifica tion program, conferences and meetings, education, skills and career focus, grants-in-aid (by AAPG Foundation), insurance program, imperial barrel award, student chapter program, and visiting geoscientist program. For conferences and meetings, AAPG have AAPG Annual Convention & Exhibition, AAPG International Conference & Exhibition, and many more.
