Tuesday, September 15:• I will:

1. read a book independently so that I can build my stamina (keep up with reading log)

2. review the use of figurative language so that I can use this in my own writing (video together #1-38)

3. find figures of speech in song lyrics so that I can see how they are used in the “real world” (“Roar” on own)

4. complete and turn in sheets on personification/hyperbole/alliteration (staple together and turn in for a grade)

5. write in my writer’s notebook so that I can keep track of my writing experiences this school year (all pages 1-15/16 should be complete)

6. review vocabulary words so that I can apply my knowledge of figurative language devices (#6-10 Homework Due Thursday & Quiz)
