5. Reports from National Committees- future meetings to be via Webex- Research Committee – attached- Publications Committee - attached
6. Reports from and plans of Sections -Hull and Humber, no news
-North Yorks and York, twilight sessions to be held in schools in the Section area
-South Yorks, no news. Concern was expressed regarding who was running the Section-West Yorks, planning session next week. Very successful meeting “Rock walk in Halifax” Useful web link to support this = http://www.wyorksgeologytrust.org/
7. Region Programme of Meetings- Stem Cell meeting – flier attached- ABM minutes (attached) - Presidents meeting/ABM 2014 to be held in Hull

9. ASE Assembly/Council Reports- Yorkshire Region assembly representative? JP to approach Sharon Allan. Linda
Needham is willing to stand if no other practicing teacher is suggested.- Is there a link on the ASE website to Assembly/Council minutes. This would
enable members to keep in touch. PT to follow this up.
10. Yorkshire Northern Area Conference (Nov 2014) - Date is Saturday 22nd November 2014- Working/planning group to meet in September 2013
11. Secretary’s Business- Nil
12. Treasurer’s Business- £590.50 left in the Region account- members encouraged to submit their expenses claims asap- JP to send copy of claims to members as she submits them to HQ, in this way
members will know to expect payment within the month.
13. AOBDates and venues for Region committee meetings 2013/14 :-

14. Meeting adjourned 1930 and members retired to The Plough Inn for refreshments.
