Dear Christian FriendsGreetings from Costa Rica* This must be the rainiest spot on earth We are now experiencing spring here. It rains every day in the winter, which cooresponds to oursummer in the states and now that it is spring it rains even more. But the family weJ^ive vdth tell us that summer will begin in December There is less rain and the daysare longer and sunny The children here get their summer vacation in December January,an d February

It seems we ll be staying here until the first part of April. The complete course at thelanguage school lasts a year. But since we had some previous experience with Spanish inPuerto Rico, we ll be able to complete almost a whole year s study in 8 months. We reboth anxious to get back to Puerto Rico to work and to enjoy the sunshine.Even here in language school there are opportunities to witness and to serve the Lord,The majority of the students here are headed for the mission field after they completetheir studies. But it s very easy to become discouraged when your mouth Just won t dowhat your mind tells it to do, e are able to encourage and minister to one another as
