    YORK Ceiling Concealed Fan Coil Air Conditioners are designed specially to meet the many and varied requirements

    demanded of horizontal ceiling concealed units. They offer effective zone cooling control and are especially suitable

    for use in Apartments, Hotels, Shopping Centres, Office Buildings and Hospitals.

    Six sizes with capacity ranging from 300 to 1200 CFM are available, allowing YORK fan coil air conditioners to

    precisely match the room load requirement of a homogeneous zone, assuring maximum performance and operating

    effciency with lowest installation cost.

    INTRODUCTION

    NOMENCLATURE

    FEATURES1. Whisper Quiet OperationThe Ceiling - Cancealed units have 3 fans speeds and operate very silently to give whisper comfort condition.

    2. Interior Design FriendlyThese units will never become absolete as the units are completely concealed away. Interior decoration for maximumaesthetic beauty as well as interior design for optimum space utilisation is easily achieved as no wall or floor space isrequired to install the units.

    3. Superior Air DistributionAs the conditioned air can be ducted to every corner of the area, air distribution is excellent, cooling the entire air-conditioned space. In addition, the conditioned air coming from above provides optimum comfort to the occupants.

    4. Easy And Flexible Installation

    The unit is highly compact, it is therefore very easy to select a location to install the unit such that only very smallspace is required. The unit is also very light in weight making it ideal for ceiling installation.

    5. Easy And Flexible Piping ConnectionPiping is flexible because it can be led in from left or right hand side. Water pipe connection is easier since brasssocket is provided.

    6. Easy MaintenanceThe Ceiling - Concealed units can be easily serviced in minutes. The motor-blower assembly can be easily removedfor service with the removal of motor-blower assembly, cooling coil is acessable.

    7. Drain pain extended by piping connection.

    GENERAL - The ceiling concealed fan coil units shall be completely factory assembled, coil

    leak tested and ready for installation.

    BASIC-UNIT - The basic unit shall be fabricated of heavy galvanised steel.

    COILS - Coils shall have 3/ 8 inch O.D. (9.52mm O.D.)copper tubes with aluminium fins

    12 fins per inch, mechanically bonded to the tubes. All coils shall be fitted with

    manual air vents. Each coil shall be degreased internally and externally, brazed

    in Nitrogen atmosphere, leak tested at 350 psi (2420 kPa) and completely

    dehydrated before assembly. Standard 3-row and higher capacity 4-row coil

    are offered based on selection.

    MOTOR - Motor shall be 3 speed, permanent split capacitor type with thermal overload

    protection. Motor bearings shall be of the ball bearing type.

    FANS - Fans shall be of centrifugal direct-drive, forward curved type. Fan wheels shall

    be statically and dynamically balanced.

    TERMINAL BOX - All units shall be provided with factory installed terminal box with the fan motor

    wired to the box.

    DRAIN PAN - Drain pan shall be fabricated of mild steel, painted and insulated with 5-6mm

    closed cell foam.

    OPTION - i) Aluminium structure with double skin 17mm thick panel for high indoor air

    quality requirement.

    ii) Hydrophilic fin or copper fin for corrosive environment.
